Aayush Rastogi
Finance Lead
My name is Aayush Rastogi and I am the Finance Lead for REACT and a senior Biomedical Engineering student at Arizona State University. I am interested in translational medicine, biomedical research, and pursuing a career at the intersection of engineering and healthcare. Through REACT, I enjoy contributing to initiatives that support refugee communities and collaborating with other students to improve access to healthcare and education.
My name is Yashvi Patel, and I will be serving as the Marketing Lead for the 2026-2027 academic year. I am majoring in Medical Studies and plan to attend medical school to pursue a career in pediatrics. Joining REACT last year has given me the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on local refugee communities while connecting with fellow students who are equally passionate about our mission.
From Vancouver, Canada, Leyli Balaghi is a sophomore studying neuroscience and finance in Barrett, The Honors College at Arizona State University, where she serves as REACT’s Cultural Humility Lead. She is pursuing the pre-medical track and is interested in mental health advocacy, addiction and neuroscience research, and culturally responsive patient care. Through REACT, Leyli supports refugee communities, develops cultural humility resources, and collaborates with other students to promote compassionate, accessible, and respectful healthcare experiences.
Viren Ramakrishna is a sophomore at Barrett, the Honors College pursuing a B.S. in Biology and a B.A. in Philosophy. As Cultural Humility Lead for REACT, he ensures resources distributed to communities reflect principles of cultural humility and supports the organization’s mission of serving underserved communities. He aims to become an orthopedic surgeon, and his favorite part of REACT is tutoring English and math to a refugee family through the LSS cosponsorship.
